Harvest Good Nutrition with Fresh Fruits and Veggies

Who has time to think about what they’re eating? Everyone —according to the National Cancer Institute, especially with the variety of delicious, fresh, locally grown fruit and vegetable choices available during this time of harvest.

In spite of lactose intolerance, some people may still be able to have small amounts of milk, or they may be able to eat other dairy products that contain lower amounts of lactose, such as cheese.

Summer Camping Time

It is time to think about summer camping opportunities! Belmont County 4-H will again be conducting junior camp for all youth in Belmont County age 9-13. The child does not have to belong to a 4-H club to attend camp. The camp will be held Saturday, June 21 – Tuesday, June 24 at 4-H Camp Piedmont on Piedmont Lake.

OSU Master Gardeners Helpline

Local Master Gardeners will be available to help with any questions on soils, insects, flowers, vegetable, or any home yard and garden concerns.
