Belmont County Fair - Opportunities for Members

Belmont County Junior Fair Board:

Any youth who is actively involved in a Junior Fair Organization in Belmont County (4-H, FFA, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts) and who are between 13 and 19 years of age as of Janurary 1st of the year of service are eligible to apply to be on the Belmont County Junior Fair Board.

Applications are due to a coordinator or the OSU Extension Office by October 1st, 2024.

 

 

Royalty:

All 4-H members in good standing are eligible to apply for Junior Fair Royalty. The Royalty Court members serve as a representative of the Belmont County Junior Fair. As such all members of a junior fair organization are eligible to apply (Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, FFA, etc.). Court members are expected to carry on a long standing tradition of promoting the fair through participation in junior fair events, interactions with the public, and other public events.

 

2026 Junior Fair Royalty Court Information:

Prince/Princess: Ages 8-11(as of 1-1-2026)

Duke/Duchess: Ages 12-15 (as of 1-1-2026)

King/Queen: Ages 16-19 (as of 1-1-2026)

 

Application Deadline: 4:30PM, June 26, 2026

Interviews: July 14, 2026 starting at 4:00PM

Mandatory Royalty Orientation for Selected Applicants: Thursday, August 27th, 2026
