The Family Guide to 4-H is the first step to letting your members know what projects are available.  The Family Guides are available by clicking on the highlighted text or by requesting a hard copy from the Extension office.  Once your members have decided on projects, you will need to complete the 4-H Project Book Order Form and return it to the Extension office.

As you prepare for your club meetings, you may find you need some resources to help you and your club members with public speaking, project learning and demonstrations.  You also want to make sure your News Reporter fills out the News Reporter's Form and submits to the appropriate people in a timely manner.  The following should serve as useful resources:

  • Tools for Public Speaking (member copy)
  • Tools for Teaching Public Speaking (advisor copy)
  • 4-H Project Learning (An Overview for 4-H Advisors)
  • Demonstrations
  • News Reporter's Form
